This one is hilarious. The first time I read this was way back 2004.
It still makes me smile everytime I read it. =)

IBA TALAGA ANG PINOY!

Nagkaroon ng exam ang agencies ng USA para malaman kung sino sa mga
agencies ang magaling mag execute ng man-hunt. Ang mga participants ay:

NYPD = New York Police Department, USA

FBI = Federal Bureau of Investigation, USA

CIA = Central Intelligence Agency, USA

PNP = Philippine National Police, Phil (Special International Guest
Participant)



Isang puting rabbit ang papakawalan sa isang gubat. Each agency will be given three (3) months to find the rabbit.



Unang grupong contestant, NYPD.



Pumasok sa gubat ang kanilang search and rescue squad, S.W.A.T., at pinalibutan ng mga police ang buong gubat. Ipinasok rin nila sa gubat ang kanilang detectives, at experts sa paghahanap ng nawawala.



After 3 months, lumabas ang NYPD sa gubat.



Nag release sila ng press statement, "After 3 months of intensive search for the white rabbit, we regret to inform you that because the rabbit had a head start, it was able to elude our units, and was able to pass through our dragnet. The rabbit has escaped."



Next ang FBI.



Pumasok rin sa gubat mga FBI, dala dala ang mga helicopters, mga sniffing dogs, at sari saring experts para hanapin ang rabbit.



After 3 months, lumabas ang FBI sa gubat.



Nag release rin sila ng press statement, "After 3 months of finding the white rabbit, we had some interesting leads. However, as we were closing in on its location, somebody must have tipped it off, and it was able to elude us by disguising as a deer. The rabbit has escaped."



Next ang CIA.



Pumasok ang CIA, at dahil meron silang special powers to request assistance from the US Military, dinala na rin nila ang US Army para tulungan sila sa paghanap.



After 3 months of firefight, bombing, and special operations, lumabas
ang CIA sa gubat.


Sabi nila sa press statement, "We used everything at our disposal. We didn't leave any stone unturned. We bombed everything in sight. I'm sure, you will not find any rabbit there anymore. He's probably scattered all around the forest in tiny little pieces!"



Last, but not least, the PNP.



Napatawa ang ibang agencies dahil ang pumasok lang sa gubat na PNP ay lima lang.



Pero laking gulat na lang nila dahil next day mismo, lumabas ang PNP, dala dala ay isang grizzly bear, na naka posas, bugbog sarado ang mukha, halos sarado ang isang mata dahil sa bugbog, dugu-an, at sumisigaw, "OO NA! OO NA!!! AKO ANG WHITE RABBIT!!! AKO ANG WHITE RABBIT!!!" lol

Svetalana..

The first time I met Svet, i had a crush on her.
Pretty, smart and kind-hearted.. Then someone told me she was married and i thought that i might as well keep her as a friend than not have her in my life at all.

Svet and i became cool friends and whenever i see her i always say : Svetlana mah frend!! and we do this funny handshake that i dont do with anyone at all. It was like BFF's (best friend forever) in the making. :) So one day i asked: kumusta na nga pala kayo asawa mo? she laughed and said, "mukha ba akong may asawa?". I could still remember that day. and it was just funny the way she reacted. Well, truth was she wasn't married. Some stupid co-worker checked her friendster out and saw "married" in her status. I felt stupid too for listening.

Anyway, i left that company for another and after 5 months of not seeing each other, we met again. It was as if we just saw each other the day before. i admit that i missed her. and it felt good to be with svet and laugh with her again. We then went to Guilly's with another colleague, Alex and 2 of my agents.. then transferred to Fuzion in Greenbelt.. Had coffee at Coffee Bean.. and went to Fridays at Bonifacio High Street..

The batteries in our mobile phones were at a bar each so we only had a few pictures.

Hmmn.. 30 doesnt sound that bad.. so i lived 30 years in this planet.. it's not like i commited a crime just because i am 30 years older. ;)

Okay, so I found this old notebook when I was cleaning my closet. It was funny becuase It was my wishlist when I was 24. Here was what the paper said:

THINGS TO DO BEFORE I REACH 30yrs old
(in any order) ---> this was hilarious. Why the hell did I write that anyway? :)

- Get Married
- Have a High-end Phone
- Be a kotei champ in L5R
- Buy my own guitar

alright, lets see what i've done and what i've not.. and if i really want to do them.
1) Get Married --> this was like a dream at that time.. looks like i'll keep dreaming. LOL!

2) Have a high-end phone. --> DONE. It was the first time I had a Smartphone and i fell inlove with it! I could say it was love at first sight with that phone. :)

3) Be a kotei champ in L5R --> The closest I had was 3rd place out of 100+ players. Til the cards became expensive and I decided to quit card games. Little did I know that i'll be playing another Collectible Card Game a year after.

4) Buy my own guitar --> DONE. the first guitar I bought was an Applause by Ovation Acoustic Guitar. I call her Gaia.

5) Go to Baguio --> DONE.

6) Have a Savings Account and be good at handling money. --> Savings account yes. The problem is i should've written be good at SAVING money.. because to date, i feel like i have handled my money very well.. The saving part i have to improve on.

7) Go to Puerto Galera --> DONE

8) Be a Team Leader --> DONE

9) Have a Tongue Pierce --> Didnt do it.. will never do it.

10) Party --> DONE. but i think i still need a couple more.

Team M&M

It has been three weeks since I've been working with a couple of people I call "my team". Though there may have been issues between the people in this team, at work and outside work, I'm starting to like these people I am assigned to work with.

Me and my Moto Q

I love my Moto Q9h! It's not as expensive as any high end Nokia or Sony Ericsson phones and the features are just way awesome!
What I like about my Moto Q9h is that it's Operating System is Windows Mobile 6.0.
I can use MS Mobile Applications like Word, Excel and Powerpoint. It also has Outlook .. too bad we are using a different MS Office email at work.

Okay, here are the cool apps that i use.
These are third party applications that are not initially installed on the phone.

Smart Toolkit - RC08





It has a PC interface. Instead of having the usual icons, it provides a start-like menu. It's also user friendly so you don't need to read a handbook or something.

Q: Why not get the newest version, Smart Toolkit 2.0?
A: Because everytime i run it, my phone kept restarting. I'm happy with RC08 version. :)

The best part is, this version has screen capture. that's what i'm using to show photos of the apps that i have.

Power SMS

PowerSMS is a cool feature. Better than the usual Group SMS.
It includes:
* Note to self - Quickly send yourself an SMS
* Group Message - Create a group and send it
* Auto Reply - Return Missed Calls with an SMS. Just like an out of office reply.
* Schedule SMS - Send SMS at a future date and time. Very useful if you forget dates like me. Plus, i make it as my regular reminder.
* Cool Stats - a funky way to check how many messages you received, most active contact, etc.
* Back up and Restore - If you have important messages you wanna transfer to your PC in an excel file.

The built-in Photo Viewer is already good.. then when you find something better, you get it, install it, and keep it. :)

Today I have download this uber cool app: FACADE and PAPYRUS


The Application Facade basically makes you customize your homescreen. That's all it does. But add another application called Papyrus, and you can incorporate your schedules and task in your Homescreen.

Now, let's take a look at my Moto Q's new Homescreen:

SMS and EMAIL work on this phone. Now I need to know how VOICEMAIL works with Globe Telecom. I've been bugging their customer service both online and over the phone but they can't seem to make my voicemail work. Crap. This makes me a sad panda.

On the positive side, I downloaded Papyrus. This changes the old Calendar that was pre-installed and creates a new Calendar Organizer. Let's see what it has.
